What it is
Spectral Rave is a browser-based music visualizer that turns an MP3 into a virtual rave stage with reactive lights, bass-driven visualizers, crowd flashes, camera movement, Party sync, and optional Razer Chroma device feedback.
How it works
- Normal uses the full-spectrum energy and BPM color shifting.
- Bass follows the detected beat with white static-on, then off, for lighting and Chroma.
- Bass (Cycling) uses the same beat timing while cycling through noticeably different colors.
- Parties let a Rave Lord share playback with ravers while each browser keeps local audio and Chroma control.
Controls
Enter the rave first, open the Spectral Rave controls, choose Select MP3, then load a local file, Sample Track, or Creator Track. Choose a lighting type, then play, pause, seek, adjust volume, or toggle Razer Chroma support.
Inspiration
I had always been fascinated by Razer Chroma lights reacting to music and gameplay. There were many visualizers out there, but none of them felt accurate enough. So I tried vibe coding something that could help me achieve that goal: a more responsive rave visualizer that follows the beat and extends the feeling across the screen and Chroma devices.
